Website Design.
I've had several opportunities to work in the space of website design, from building full company websites from concept to completion, to creating website banners and takeovers in order to market entertainment programming to target audiences. I've always approached the creative for these sites as a way to engage the consumer, communicate important messaging, provide opportunities to learn/see more and encourage a call-to-action, while still being on brand and aligning with marketing and communication strategies.
TSK Architects
Creation & Design of Website and Sizzle Reel
TSK Architects is a leading architecture firm headquartered in Henderson, NV with offices in Los Angeles, CA, Reno, NV and Shanghai, China. In my role as Marketing Manager for the firm I was given the opportunity to redesign the firm's website as the one they had was outdated and did not showcase their capabilities and work. I chose to use Wix website development software because of its customization offerings. Starting from scratch I built this website with the intention of creating a place for our vendors, clients and potential employees to see the amazing work that TSK has done and what the firm has to offer. I had the opportunity to create the site from concept to completion, including gathering information, writing copy, building the site map and creating the site. In addition to creating the full website, I hired a videographer and led the creation and development of a Marketing sizzle reel for the firm, which you can view in the main home page of the site. Dr. Priya Parikh, Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Website Creation & Design
Dr. Priya Parikh is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist located in Southern California who was ready to start her own practice. In order to launch her business she was in need of a website that could be used for marketing her services. I had the opportunity to create and build her website as well as provide her with guidance on her site map and content. My goal when building this site for her practice was to create a user-friendly site that showcased her services, while also being an inviting and safe space for her prospective clients to understand how she conducts her practice, who she was as an individual and what they could expect from her as their psychologist. TMZ Website Takeover
In partnership with TMZ.com, we did several website takeovers to market College Football games airing on FOX. The banners show the various sizes and creative designed for the takeover, and to the right is the template for the website showing how these banners would be displayed on the site. Designing these website takeovers takes careful planning and appropriate use of imagery to ensure all pieces on the site work together to clearly communicate the message.
Disney Store Confirmation Banners
These examples of The Muppets and The Oscars digital banners that were created for the Disney Store website. These banners would be displayed once an order was placed to confirm the purchase as well as drive tune-in for various ABC priority shows. They were also linked to the ABC.com site, which provided the consumer an opportunity to watch a Sneak Peek or behind-the-scenes footage of the show. In designing these banners, it was important to keep the branding of the marketing campaign for the show intact, while also adding some of the fun and punny nature of the Disney Store website. This was accomplished by combining the creative developed for the show with clever and catchy copy-writing.
Disney.com
Website Header
As part of the integrated marketing campaigns for ABC priority shows, we would partner with Disney.com to provide them with creative for the properties that we wanted featured on the website. The creative for these headers had to be built within their website template and specs to ensure it was clear of any built-in copy or features. The example seen here is of a banner that was designed within their template using the creative that was developed for the Toy Story That Time Forgot movie special.
